Looking for and associate with a mix of administration, human resources, training development, coaching and mentoring. Operation is a 6 day a week two shift distribution operation for apparel for both E-commerce and store distribution operations. Candidates must be hands on and willing to work in and understand the operation with the ability to develop training SOP to best educate the associates as they are added to the operation. Ability to handle basic HR and administration functions with conflict resolution experience a must.

Responsibilities

 

  • Recruit based on operations demands utilizing in-house database.
  • Partner with employment agencies and on-site Supervisors to fill temporary associates’ positions and ensure temporary associates are meeting performance standards.
  • Responsible for processing new hire documents and conducting on-site new hire orientation including training on utilizing time-tracking systems and providing company required training.
  • Oversee associate’s time & attendance records to ensure accurate timecard recording.
  • Responsible for tracking associate’s weekly working hours to stay compliant with customer’s standard 
  • Run payroll and time & attendance reports for management weekly or as needed.
  • Monitor and address personnel issues and concerns quickly and effectively and in accordance with company procedures including disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Assist with accident investigation and incident reports to provide root cause analysis.
  • Support and coach management team members with performance and behavioral issues to include disciplinary actions.
  • Tracks & reports KPI’s for management
  • Serve as Safety & Security and Quality Coordinator for the facility.
  • Complete scheduled safety and security audits
  • Facility Management to include:
  • Conduct daily walk throughs in the facility to ensure operations is conducted in a safe manner in compliance with the organizations’ policies and with all applicable    regulations and standards.
  • Maintain administrative control of the worksite building maintenance activities.
  • Prepare necessary documents, related to purchasing and billing.
  • Ensures proper use and care of all property equipment and supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

·       Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Health and Safety, Business Administration, Human Resources or Supply Chain Management

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse distribution

·       Strong organizational & communication skills- listening, communicating effectively, providing & receiving feedback

·       Ability to handle conflict resolution in a professional manner.

·       Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety

·       Candidate must be able to work a flexible work schedule.

·       Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

·       Strong organization and communication skills

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

·       Strong organizational and project management skills

·       Strong Teamwork skills

·       Work Location: In Person

·       Bilingual in English and Spanish required

 

Organization Relationships

  • This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, office personnel and Agency OnSite Supervisor.
  • Will Report to the Operations Assistant General Manager
