Our Corporate Sales Headquarters has an excellent opportunity available for a Global Account Manager.  We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, team player that can also work independently in our fast-paced, corporate sales department. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organization skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task and calmly handle quickly changing priorities under tight deadlines with great attention to details are essential for success. The position is located at CSHQ Location in New York and reports to AGM / CSHQ-ER.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Why does the position exist?

Our Corporate Sales Headquarters has an excellent opportunity available for Sales Manager, Semiconductor Industry. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, team player that can also work independently in our fast-paced, global sales department. The position is located at CSHQ ER Location domiciled and reports to CSHQ Assistant General Manager

Sales Focus area

  • Upstate New York (Albany, Binghamton, Marcy, Rochester etc) 

 

Sales Focus Companies:

  • Global Foundries, Micron, onsemi, IBM,  Wolfspeed etc

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of services - Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution, Domestic Delivery
  • Achieving new customers business in Semiconductor
  • Top sales activities that make full use of customer relationships to achieve the business.
  • Provide the highest quality, professional customer service and operations support to new business
  • Research and develop lists of potential customers by doing market research
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect Vertical
  • Working with NX USA Team and branch Customer Service /operations staff to establish a communication path with and within the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products & services
  • Ability to Create SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) and develop Implementation for  Customer Operating Procedures for new customer business according to the agreed contract and business requirements. 
  • Develop professional, accurate and timely sales performance reports, customer performance reports, customer presentations, and other reports and presentations as required. 

 

Process Improvement Functions

  • Teamwork - Must work professionally and effectively with key sales and operations staff worldwide in order to achieve macro target revenue goals.
  • Communication/Feedback - Accept feedback willingly; develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, and co-workers.
  • Process Improvement - Identify new administrative, sales or operations processes that increase overall team efficiency and enhance professionalism, and make recommendations for implementation to management. 

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • 3 + plus years of Semiconductor business sales experience 
  • B.A./B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills- Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word,
  • Inside or outside sales or customer service experience, or operational background experience in the international airfreight/ocean industry preferred.
  • KPI Report and EDI knowledge preferred.

Salary: $73, 476 - $121,152
