Overview

Nippon Express USA is expanding its sales presence across the United States in several key strategic industry verticals to achieve Group Strategic Objectives.

Responsibilities

What do we offer?

  • Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 with additional performance based incentives.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Securing and managing new global account business. Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution and 3PL.
  • Developing strong C-Level relationships within existing and target accounts focused in the Semiconductor, Solar, Industrial, and Electronics/Technology vertical; and other verticals where applicable if you have contacts.
  • Assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets to include overall territory target and individual account targets
  • Responsible for managing a global customer list of 5-10 target accounts (existing/potential)
  • Ability to conduct strategic sales initiatives – identify global opportunities, decision makers, solutions.
  • Provide coaching and conduct joint sales calls with Regional/Local Account Executives
  • Revenue Responsibility – GSD has 100% Revenue Responsibility
  • Maintains personal contact with large key customers.
  • Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner.
  • Determining market strategies & goals for each product and service obtaining & coordinating data & information from staff & member groups
  • Researching and developing lists of potential Semiconductor customers doing market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff
  • Evaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers’ technical needs
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
  • Establishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
  • Working with Corporate and Branch of Management, branch CS & operations staff to establish a communication path with and within the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products & services

 

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Qualifications

What do we want? 
 

  • Proven experience selling International Freight Forwarding Services to Global Tier 1/2 Accounts.
  • Preferably within the Hi-Tech, Electronics, Semiconductor, Solar or Industrial sectors.
