Responsibilities

Job Description: 

 

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our IT Application Development team at Nippon Express USA. He/she will be engaging in various aspect of design and delivery of high-quality business applications by determining the requirements of a project and communicating clearly to business unit and software development team members. IT Business Analyst serves as the liaison between the sales, operations, and Application Development teams. This position will provide support for production issues, enhancement requests, or new projects based on organizational needs.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Partnering closely with the operation and sales teams, develop detailed business case, functional requirements and technical specification documentation and ensuring there is alignment between all teams on system enhancements.
  • Manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes.
  • Assisting Development Manager in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments.
  • Monitor progress to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Track progress to plan.
  • Communicate status to project team members and management.

 

Salary: $92,412.00 - $115,032.00 

 

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. 

Qualifications

Minimum qualification: 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, or related field or the equivalent in education and work experience.
  • 5-10 years of Business Systems Analysis experience
  • Through an understanding of Freight Forwarding operation (Air and Ocean Cargo)
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to the details.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide spectrum of people including senior leaders, customers, and people across geographies.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.

Preferred qualification:

Basic SQL query skills and strong familiarity navigating database structures and integration design documentation is a plus.
