Provide departmental support in the Warehouse/Dispatch department.

• Dispatch/Warehouse(CFS/Container Freight Station for Air & Ocean shipment)

       This position follows the instruction from Warehouse(CFS) /Dispatch

• Develop daily schedules of deliveries and pickups following the instruction from Dispatch team leader
• Following the instruction from Dispatch team leader, verify the schedule are met
• Communicate and maintain a working environment with drivers and subcontractors
• Issue the invoice to Customer (customer service is required)

• Support warehouse activities on a daily basis under the direction of Warehouse operation management
• Ensure quality and quantity of orders is complete and correct
• Safely and efficiently operate the appropriate forklift while assisting in loading, unloading, or stocking freight as required
• Maintain a clean working environment to ensure safety

• Complete required documentation for the airport transfer, shipping and receiving
• Support additional departments/functions as appropriate
• Follow all safety(NEU Safety Management Program) and compliance guidelines (includes TSA, TAPA, DOT, QEP, DGR, C-TPAT, Customs regulations, etc)
• Collaborate with others to ensure teamwork and customer satisfaction
• Complete training in timely manner
• General business support functions as assigned

Organization Relationships

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

Work Environment

• This position requires physical demands to include, but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
• Will work alongside drivers who are moving pallets on different types of forklifts
• Working hour is 9:00 to 18:00 Mon thru Fri
• Working Sat depends on business requirement

Required Skill

• 2+years’ experience in warehouse, distribution or industry experience
• Good communication skills– listening, providing and receiving feedback
• Basic knowledge of routine warehouse practices and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects in a warehouse setting.
• Skill to use Microsoft: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Salary Pay Range: $21-23 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
