Purpose

Perform accurate movement of all products for both inbound and outbound freight.  Ensure that the product is free from damage and assure that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.

• Warehouse operations to include receiving, shipping, loading and unloading accurately and in a timely manner
• Accurately pick, pull and pack distribution orders
• Ensure quality and quantity of orders is complete and correct
• Complete required documentation to record process, movement of goods, training, etc.
• Safely and efficiently operate the appropriate forklift while assisting in loading, unloading, or stocking freight as required
• Support additional departments/functions as appropriate
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines in accordance with the SOPs
• Receive dispatch calls and input pick-up orders 
• Dispatch trucks for seasonal handling such as Cherry season
• Complete On-hands of export cargo
• Maintain a clean working environment to ensure safety
• Notify management team members of low inventory for distribution of customer's product
• Properly dispose of banker boxes at the time of disposal date
• Report "end of day" status to management team at the end of shift 
• Collaborate with others to ensure teamwork and customer satisfaction
• General business support functions as assigned
• Hourly Pay Range $20 - $22

• High School Diploma, equivalency certificate or significant relevant or appropriate working experience
• Approximately 2 years department or industry experience
• Ability to follow TSA and government mandate cargo handling rules and regulations
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members
• Physical work includes standing, pushing, pulling, reaching over head, bending and walking
• Must have at least 2 years experience with driving a standard forklift
• Must be able to complete forklift certification process
• This position is a part-time position with working schedule Monday - Friday from 10am - 4:30pm

Organization Relationships

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

Work Environment

• This position requires physical demands to include, but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
• Will work alongside drivers who are moving pallets on different types of forklifts.
