Responsibilities

Primary Assignments:

An Air Export Sr. Agent prepares air shipments for export by checking documentation, confirming arrival of cargo at certain warehouses, booking space on airlines, preparing all necessary documentation, packages, labels, and certificates, getting on-board confirmation by telephone, web-sites, and sending Di's to designated personnel at arrival ports and to clients.   • Trace and tracking shipments for airline, trucker or other
  • File necessary
  • Arrange
  • Check Inventory for shipping
  • Provide customer service and care to maintain customer
  • Negotiation with
  • Document and reporting any irregularity in timely
  • Arrange warehouse work at NEU WH or other
  • Issue billing invoice within 3days after
  • Process payment to subcontractor and
  • Cost negotiation and renewal with vender and etc.
  • Overseas communication for Air Export related
  • Prepare quotation (estimate survey, collecting and calculation costs, issuing estimation letter) in timely manner.
  • Follow up AIR in timely manner
  • Preparation of statistical number and market report for
  • Check cargo security and
  • Advise upper management (immediately) of service failures or problems that need to be addressed to the client directly.
  • Advise upper management (immediately) of any behavior problems in export
  • Report to Manager/Supervisor of any concern as necessary.

Secondary Assignment:

 

Air Export Sr.Agent is expected to perform his/her primary assignments in the Air Export Department. However, based on necessity and on Dept Manager's request, the agent may be asked to perform Other Department Duties if it is necessary.

Your future assignments will depend on the needs of the department, your performance and capabilities.

Pay Rate Range: $25-$28/hour

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
  • Some computer skills including data entry and maintenance and working
  • Some knowledge of general and Export Computer application technology desirable
  • Some knowledge of international commerce (sales and payment term, method, customs regulations etc.)
