Purpose:

Manages and supervises personnel and business activities of the Warehouse under guidance of the General Manager and Deputy General Manager.  Responsible for overseeing all Warehouse functions including:  receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, customer service, purchasing, P&L, budgeting, safety & security, coordinate with sales, operations planning, information systems and Administration to ensure proper staffing and the ability to handle daily customer demand on a consistent basis.

• Prepare and implement the functional target and plan based on branch/department target and plan.
• Directs the efficient and cost-effective lay-out, organization and operation of the warehouse
• Manages inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods, inventory management and claims.
• Manages outbound activities related to order filling, pick pack, stock replenishment and shipping.
• Responsible for budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation.
• Administers overall inventory management, productivity, accuracy and loss prevention to ensure that customer requirements are met.
• Ensures the security and safety of the personnel and facility.
• Effective communicator, written and verbal with diverse workforce and customer groups.
• Creates and maintains positive work environment for all employees
• Manage all personnel activities within the department
• Ensure all levels of the department are in compliance with company policies
• Hires, supervises trains and manages performance of Warehouse employees.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehousing/Distribution and/or Business Administration
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years in Logistics Management and 5 to 10 total years in Logistics and/or Business Administration
• Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership in managing warehouse
• Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems
• Strong working knowledge of automated inventory control and warehouse management systems
• System knowledge of Rewards

Organization Relationships:

 This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

Work Environment:

• This position will require standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.

Salary Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
