Purpose: Expand Ocean Cargo Volume

Essential Duties:

• Responsible to expand Ocean Cargo volume in Americas Region
• Develop market research and reporting for both US imports and exports
• Collaborate with sales team to develop target accounts for ocean cargo
• Support local branches to increase volume of ocean cargo
• Build market and product knowledge and devise a communication plan to ensure that market intelligence is shared with colleagues

Salary: $52,128 - $75,000 

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics.
• Experience working with data, creating reports and presentations is required.
• Experience working at ocean carriers is welcome.

Skill Sets Required:
• Knowledge of Datamyne, Piers or similar databases. 
• Strong market search skills 
• Strong communication skills
• Strong PC Skills with Word, Excel and Power Point.
